  2. I just found your blog and love your style and ideas. I'm new to sewing but hope to be able to combine fabrics & colours as well as you do.

  6. Thank you so much. I can barely fit myself let alone others. So, no, I don't sell my things. Someday I might have an online "closet sale" and pass along some garments. My closet is getting too crammed and I keep making things!

    1. I use mostly Vogue patterns by Marcy Tilton and her sister Katherine Tilton. But I do a lot of self drafting, too. In each blog post I do say where the pattern is from, and give a number with a link. Thanks so much!

    2. I really like your green polka dot big shirt at the end of this post, but do not see a pattern number anywhere. I have just the fabric & would really appreciate the pattern info. Thanks!

    3. It was a Marcy Tilton Vogue pattern. I just looked online and it is out of print, darn it! I'm so sorry!

  9. Thanks Gayle. Still trying to track the out of print shirt pattern down. I have a friend with some older M. Tilton patterns. Could you please tell me the number of yours?
    thanks!

  13. After seeing your use of Marcy Tilton V9171 out of the absolutely stunning Marcia Derse, I just had to have both the pattern and the fabric. Getting both is always difficult since I live in Mexico. Fabric arrived (so yummy) and waiting for a friend who is Stateside to return with the pattern, but looking at the fabric and your photo, and unable to tell from the line drawing on the pattern, is there a center panel on the pattern front? I like how you placed the design but it's on my selvedge edge which makes me think you cut the pattern to use this pattern.
