 Marcy Tilton Vogue 8779

Marcy Tilton OOP jacket pattern from linen we use in the bakery to make the lining for our bread baskets
Marcy Tilton Vogue 8709  I had fun with this one.  Started with muslin, layers three sheer fabrics on top then silk screened.
For some insane reason I love working with vintage men's jackets.  They are a pain in the butt because they are constructed so well it's time consuming to break them down into a new design.  This one stayed pretty much intact, a little nipping at the waist and some embellishment.

  5. Where do you find your black and burgundy jacket fabrics? The burgundy looks a lot like the black metal.
I would love some information about these fabrics.
    Thx

    1. I get most of my fabrics from Marcy Tilton online, Hart’s Fabrics in Santa Cruz (they are also online), Fabrix in San Francisco and while traveling.
